The Keewaydin
Keewaydin is an eighty foot LOD gaff ketch sailing trawler.
She is based on the Teifi Estuary in Cardigan and has recently undergone a traditional rebuild using all the skills and methods of the past.
The photographs below commemorate the first voyage since her rebuild and show her arrival in Milford Haven
The old arrives as the new departs, 2 trawlers from different eras pass in the haven.
The Keewaydin with bowsprit retracted as she prepares to berth in Milford Docks, the Docks would have been full of sailing trawlers like this a hundred years ago.
