The Centenary of Fishguard Harbour as a Ferry Port
The 30th August 1906 was the official opening of the Fishguard Rosslare ferry service
In August 2006 Fishguard Harbour celebrated 100 years of ferry crossings between west Wales and Rosslare with a number of activities on both sides of the Irish Sea. Click here to read about some of them.
The Brunel Festival at Neyland
The great civil engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel left his mark on Pembrokeshire, as he did in other parts of Wales, and his Haverfordwest to Neyland Railway was largely responsible for the development of the town of Neyland.
