The Kathleen and May

This is the last remaining wooden hull three masted topsail schooner.

There were hundreds of these West Coast Traders during the early part of this century, but it is only the Kathleen and May that has survived and this is due to the endless struggle of her owners to preserve this very significant gem of the trading heritage of our coasts.
